Traditional Chinese music X ACG (斗·樂X二次元)

Well-renowned Chinese traditional musician Fang Jinlong will work together with the Grand Sino Philharmonic Orchestra to perform traditional Chinese music in Guangzhou, and this is the finale of their national tour in 2021.
In recent years, Fang Jinlong has started to integrate Western music into traditional Chinese works, and combines traditional pieces with pop music, allowing numerous young people to learn more about traditional Chinese culture and then fall in love with folk music.

With profound cultural connotation, Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana has been the most infectious and stimulating classical choral work since its publication and is regarded as an immortal masterpiece in the history of music. The Yellow River Cantata, a landmark of choral music in China, has a magnificent and impassioned melody and is widely popular.
On the eve of the 2022 New Year, Guangzhou Opera House has specially arranged two concerts to present these twoepic choral works in one night for the first time to usher in the New Year with the audience.

2022 Guangzhou New Year Concert (2022第30屆廣州新年音樂會)

Hosted by Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, the Guangzhou New Year Concert has been held for 29 consecutive sessions so far, becoming the longest livingcity New Year concert brandin China.
This year, the main performers of the 30th Guangzhou New Year Concert are all female. Three famous conductors, Jing Huan, Zhou Haoyu and Gao Song, will take turns to participate in the concert, cooperating with ten excellent performers and singers to bring a musical feast through a variety of instruments such as the suona, harp, erhu, guitar, piano, clarinet, guzheng, violin as well as vocal music.

Flowing Time: Gong Linna 24 Solar Terms Ancient Poetry Concert

Led by singer Gong Linna, created by composer Lao Luo, this concert will theme Chinese ancient poetry. Based on 24 famous masterpieces which are selected from ancient Chinese poems, the songs of the concert fit the 24 Solar Terms in terms of content with diverse melodies.
In addition, the concert also includes two children's choruses. The Guangzhou Broadcasting Children's Chorus and another local children's choir will collaborate with Gong in the concert.
